Girls Takeover 2025 by Plan International is a part of the Global #StandWithGirls Campaign. This initiative will give young Nigerian girls the unique opportunity to step into leadership positions, engage with decision-makers, and advocate for gender equality.
Girls Takeover 2025 by PLAN International challenges gender stereotypes by symbolically placing girls in leadership roles across top offices in Nigeria and diplomatic missions. The initiative provides a platform for girls to make their voices heard, gain practical leadership experience, and demonstrate their capacity to drive change.
This year’s Girl’s Takeover will place Girls in:
The Office of the Vice President of Nigeria
The Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives
The Swedish Embassy, German Embassy, and British High Commission
The Country Director’s Office of Plan International Nigeria
One exceptional participant will also be selected to shadow the Country Director of Plan International Nigeria for a full year, receiving mentorship and leadership exposure.
