Nigerian lawyer, broadcaster, poet and business consultant Her Excellency (Mrs) Toki Mabogunje has been appointed to a new Exeter Law School Advisory Board
Nigerian Lawyer, Business Development Consultant and Hon.Consul for the United Republic of Tanzania to Lagos State, Hon. (Mrs.) Toki Mabogunje has been appointed to the Exeter Law School: Law 2030 Advisory Board.
She is a past President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (3rd female president), immediate Past Vice-Chair Africa of the ICC World Chamber Federation (1st female African Vice Chair Africa), and founder of Toki Mabogunje and Co.
In her phenomenal career, she was former President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a former member of the Governing Council of the ICC World Chamber Federation, immediate Past Vice-Chair Africa of the ICC World Chamber Federation , 1st Honorary Consul for the United Republic of Tanzania to Lagos State, Nigeria and a highly sought after boardroom expert.
She is a law graduate from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife. She earned her LLM in International Business Law from the University of Exeter, England. Mabogunje was honored in 2014 as the Personality of the year for World Theater Day and Cultural Ambassador by NANTAP.
The University of Exeter Law School established an investment project titled “LAW 2030” which is a 5 year project aimed to be the foundation of a long-term strategy for the growth and expansion of the Exeter Law School.
HE Toki Mabogunje is a graduate of law from the University of Ife. She is a trained Lawyer and corporate leader with several landmark achievements. She is the CEO of Toki Mabogunje and Co. known as TMC in Laos Nigeria. The Organization works with small and medium enterprises helping them to reach their full potential.
Toki is the third woman in a hundred and thirty seven years to become the president of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the first African woman to serve as the Vice Chair Africa for the World Chamber Federation.
She is an alumni of the prestigious UK Government scholarship Chevening and an outstanding alumni of the Chevening Alumni Association of Nigeria CAAN amongst several other laurels.
