Sheroes Marketplace

It is common in Nigeria that our urban areas are white-collared and our rural areas are the powerhouses of natural and green products. We envision a platform and ecommerce where we successfully link rural producers’ markets to urban consumers, thereby enriching lives.

About

Sheroes Marketplace support local producers by providing them with a technology-driven platform that enables them to grow sustainable businesses by accessing wider urban markets which possess unmet demands for rural products. We provide a tech-enabled platform that helps them list and sell their products online, access digital payments, and gain visibility in urban markets. Especially, urban markets who are rapidly engaging with online commerce, making our tech-enabled marketplace well-positioned.

Our Impacts

Our primary beneficiaries are women entrepreneurs, especially those in underserved, rural, and peri-urban communities, who produce goods such as crafts, textiles, food ingredient, herbs, handmade items, farmers, sustainable craft producers etc who face significant barriers in accessing wider markets, and as a result lose huge products, profit and live below standards. We also target urban residents who are continuously more aware of the importance of consuming green products.
