Sheroes is a women empowerment initiative designed to uplift and support women through various programs and services. We are committed to fostering a community where women can thrive.

The Purpose of Our Engagement

The purpose of engaging with Sheroes is to access unique resources and support tailored for women. Sheroes will facilitate various programs, including mentorship, skill development, networking opportunities, and other services permitted by law. You can manage your participation through the Sheroes Program, and the prerequisite for joining is to access our services, you must fulfill our onboarding and verification processes. You must be at least 18 years old, a citizen of Nigeria, meet our technology requirements, and not have previously joined Sheroes.

What is the Nature of the Relationship Between Sheroes and Participants?

Joining Sheroes

We do not knowingly engage with individuals who do not meet our participation criteria. These requirements may be updated periodically in accordance with applicable laws. By joining Sheroes, you agree to allow us to use your information to facilitate your participation in our programs. If you wish to withdraw this consent, you will need to discontinue your participation.

When Do These Terms Apply?

These terms apply when you choose to join Sheroes and we create a participant profile for you. We may modify these terms and conditions at any time, and we will inform you of any changes. Modifications may arise from changes in our practices or in response to applicable laws. Your continued participation after we notify you of updates will signify your acceptance of the modified terms. All updates will be available on our website.

Who do we share your information with?

In certain cases, we will share the information you provide with third parties we collaborate with, such as card manufacturers and credit bureaus, or with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Sharing confidential customer information will be conducted securely.

How long do we retain your data?

We retain your information as long as you are a Sheroes customer and for any additional period required by applicable laws or regulations. These retention requirements take precedence over any right to erasure requests under data protection laws. Therefore, we cannot erase your data related to your Sheroes account until the specified time period has elapsed, but we assure you that your data will be securely held during this time.

When do we delete your data?

We store and process your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill our obligations under our agreement with you or as required by law. If the data is no longer needed for statutory or contractual obligations, it will be deleted. If you choose to delete your Sheroes account, we will remove any data you have provided, including any verification videos uploaded. However, this is subject to retention regulations as stipulated by the regulators.
