Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim has been serving as Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria since October 2024.  She previously served as Minister of State for Police Affairs from August 2023 to October 2024, becoming the first woman to hold that office.

Before then, she was the Federal Commissioner for the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants & Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and the Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
