The KADA–TEWORH Girls Sports Expo 2025 has commenced in Kaduna today.
The KADA-TEWORH Girls Expo is an innovative and impactful program created to empower girls in Kaduna through sports, creativity, leadership, and social innovation.
The program is a convergence point for government bodies, schools, sports organizations, development partners, and community stakeholders who share a commitment to advancing opportunities for girls in sports and education.
The 2025 edition is themed “Sports, Innovation & a Sustainable Future.” calls on young girls to play, learn, lead, and collectively build a healthier, more inclusive Kaduna State.
The KADA–TEWORH Girls Sports Expo 2025 is strategically designed to:
- Promote girls’ participation in football and other sports as tools for education, empowerment, and life-skills development.
- Showcase innovation in girls’ sports development, including talent discovery, leadership pathways, technology integration, and career opportunities.
- Strengthen multi-sector partnerships among organizations committed to gender inclusion, education, and youth development.
- Create opportunities for street sports, fitness, creativity, and scholarships, giving girls practical platforms to explore and showcase their abilities.
- Inspire girls to become confident, resilient, and purpose-driven leaders within their communities.
The 2025 Expo features a wide range of exciting and development-driven activities, including:
- All-Girls Football Tournament
- Volleyball & Badminton Challenge
- Street Sports Showcase (skipping, cycling, freestyle performances)
- Girls Innovation Pavilion showcasing tech, creativity, and social enterprise
- Leadership & Scholarship Talks led by coaches, educators, and mentors
- Exhibition Booths featuring NGOs, schools, partners, brands, and development organizations
- Awards & Recognition for outstanding athletes, innovators, and role models
The KADA-TEWORH 2025 Expo is designed to deliver lasting impact in:
